I recently took the Washington Photo Safari tour of War Memorials & Monuments in downtown Washington D.C. This was a truly awesome experience. Instructive with respect to my camera & night photography; as well as some great exposure to DC (and our country's) monuments. The teacher (E David Luria) was extremely knowledgeble and easy to work with. It was pretty impressive to see someone know the ins & outs of the latest Nikon & Canon cameras ... he quickly taught a bunch of us (all with different cameras) to navigate through a ton of menus & sub-menus to adjust things like white balance, exposure values, and other settings.Learn more about the safaris here:washingtonphotosafari.comSee my photos here:DC Monuments
So I'm sitting in my car, at the park & ride lot, surfing the web on an iPhone; listening to Jim Cramer's podcast; drinking a triple grande caramel something-or-other. I find a cool new site mentioned on Digg called BuiltWith, so I add it to my del.icio.us account. Then I start to think how crazy it is that I can now reflect on stuff in a car with the full force of the internet, including the ability to post useless recollections like this to a blog.
I really like the fact that Blogger lets me (reliably) post entries from an email ... which means I can snap a photo, insert it into an email, add a subject that will become the post's title & add a little text before or after the picture that will become the body of the post. Now if I only had something important to say.
Oops, there's the rest of the carpool ... gotta run.

The concert kicked ass.
Sending pics directly to Blogger from the show kicked ass, too.
